The Toronto Historical Society (SHT) brings to light the history of Ontarians and Franco-Ontarians. It preserves all types of historical materials and encourages historical research.

SHT offers lectures, tours and excursions to historic sites, holds exhibitions and workshops, and publishes brochures and visual materials. It also undertakes research projects.
